Richard is a U.S. Marine Corps Desert Shield/Desert Storm Combat Veteran and the Founder, President & CEO of ValorPath Veteran Care Access Corporation (Certified SDVOSB). His career spans more than three decades across military service, corporate leadership, financial services, mortgage banking, real estate investment, and entrepreneurship with a consistent focus on building disciplined, mission-driven organizations that deliver measurable impact.

At ValorPath Veteran Care Access Corporation, he lead a national effort to connect the State and Federal Hospitals Network with trusted hospice, inpatient, and outpatient palliative care providers. Our mission is to ensure that veterans and underserved communities receive timely, dignified, and compassionate care, while also building lasting partnerships with healthcare providers and government agencies across all 50 states.

Earlier in his career, he worked with The Equitable, gaining foundational experience in financial services and client relationship management. That role sharpened his skills in advising clients, building trust, and delivering results and competencies he carried into later ventures in banking, real estate, and healthcare.

He went on to found and build Platinum Mortgage Group, Inc., scaling operations into a multi-million-dollar enterprise while managing high-performing teams across multiple markets. He also served as an Account Executive/Client Manager with Finance America, LLC/BNC Mortgage (Lehman Brothers), where he consistently ranked as a top performer while creating innovative business development strategies. In addition, he invested extensively in residential real estate, acquiring, rehabilitating, and managing properties that contributed to community redevelopment.

His leadership foundation was forged in the U.S. Marine Corps (Communications, MOS 2512), where he managed over $1B in communication assets and safeguarded mission-critical systems during combat operations in the Persian Gulf War. Those experiences taught him operational precision, accountability, and resilience under pressure which are qualities he carries into every role today.

Across all of his ventures, he’s built a reputation for integrity, strategy, and mission-first leadership. Whether leading ValorPath’s national expansion, building partnerships with hospital systems, or mentoring the next generation of veterans, his commitment remains clear: no veteran left behind.

Richard holds a BA in Entrepreneurship & Business Development and an MAEA – Sales Leadership & Commerce from DePaul University

Davat is an accomplished executive and human resources strategist with more than two decades of experience building high-performing teams, driving organizational transformation, and shaping inclusive workplace cultures across global enterprises. As Chief Operating Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer at ValorPath Veteran Care Access Corporation, she oversees operational excellence, talent strategy, and organizational development to advance the company’s mission of connecting veterans and their families to compassionate hospice care.

Before joining ValorPath, Davat served as Global Human Resource Director for Martin Brower LLC, where she supported 260 team members across 19 countries and partnered with C-suite leaders to develop global people strategies. She successfully implemented enterprise-wide talent succession frameworks, leadership development programs, and international mobility strategies that increased leadership representation, strengthened bench strength, and elevated employee engagement.

Her career includes senior leadership roles at AAR Corporation, where she built targeted veteran recruitment programs resulting in a 98% veteran workforce, and HR leadership positions with Kaplan Online University and Equity Office Group. Recognized as a 2022 Global Innovated Mobility Leader by Benivo, Davat is known for her ability to align people, processes, and culture with business growth objectives.

Davat holds both a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Diversity and Inclusion from DePaul University. Throughout her career, she has been a champion to emerging leaders, and a trusted advisor to executives navigating complex organizational challenges.

ValorPath Veteran Care Access Corporation engages national legal counsel and an independent CPA and accounting firm to support internal operations, compliance oversight, and adherence to applicable federal, state, and VA regulatory requirements.

This professional support structure ensures that ValorPath Veteran Care Access Corporation’s administrative and care-coordination functions are conducted appropriately, transparently, and independently.

Clinical services are delivered exclusively by separately licensed and accredited hospice and palliative care providers operating under independent subcontractor agreements, with each provider retaining full responsibility for their own clinical operations, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
